Choose the procedure best suited to the tool you are using to achieve a clean, uniform and long-lasting application on your custom products.
Follow these steps if you are applying the DTF transfer with a heat press.
Begin by carefully cutting out each DTF transfer.
Place the customized product on the press. Then, position the cut transfer where you want to apply it. Remember that the application surface must always be as flat as possible for optimal results.
Close the press and hold it closed for 10-15 seconds at a temperature between 150-160 degrees Celsius with a pressure of 3 bar . These references are valid for use on cotton. On polyester, we recommend a lower temperature to avoid or limit possible sublimation.
Immediately after opening the press, firmly peel off the transfer film. If the transfer was successful, the film should peel off smoothly and without tearing the application. Since it's a hot peel film, if you wait for it to cool, it will tend to strain when peeling.
For the highest quality results, we recommend a second press of 5 seconds . Important: Make sure the transfer never touches the hot plate of the press directly. You can protect it with a Teflon sheet or simply reuse the protective sheet from the transfer you just removed.
Follow these step-by-step instructions to ensure perfect application and superior quality. Happy printing!
The above indications are indicative: we recommend that you always perform a preliminary test to ensure that the final result is the desired one.
Follow these steps if you are applying the DTF transfer with an iron.
Begin by carefully cutting out each DTF transfer.
Place the personalized product on the ironing board. Then, position the cut transfer where you want to apply it. Remember that the application surface should always be as flat as possible for optimal results.
Place the iron, as hot as possible, directly on the transfer and press firmly for 10 seconds . Be careful not to move the iron during the heating process, or you risk ruining the transfer. If the transfer is larger than the area your iron can heat, repeat this process on each portion of the transfer. Each area must be heated for at least 10 seconds . These guidelines are intended for use on cotton. On polyester, we recommend a lower temperature to avoid or limit potential sublimation.
