Direct digital printing, here's how it works!

immagine video

For some time now, users have been asking us to explain in detail how direct digital printing works. We've therefore decided to create a video demonstrating the printing process so you can experience the creation of a digitally printed T-shirt. This technology is often confused with the heat application of plastic materials, but we're talking about a very recent and innovative technique, which uses cutting-edge machinery to achieve it. You can find the link to the video by clicking here. Step 1 – File Setup. First, your files are entered into the machine and configured by our operators. Based on the characteristics of each design, the parameters according to which the machine will then perform the printing are defined. Step 2 – Product Entry. The garments to be printed for the current process arrive from the warehouse to our operators. They are prepared for printing and individually placed on the tables based on the characteristics of each individual product. Step 3 – Process Start. Are we ready to begin? Step 4 – Printing Process This is definitely the most interesting phase: your design is printed onto the garment. The machines we use have a bridge of print heads loaded with white ink (necessary for all those prints that have white elements or to create the background on which to print the color in the case of dark fabrics) and a bridge loaded with colored inks (CMYK). Step 5 – Finished Product This is the last phase. The printed garments are removed from the machine and then placed into the roller oven for final drying, which will ensure the ink is permanently fixed onto the garment. We are thrilled with the result of our video; we are sure it was useful for showing you this process up close. We will soon launch a video on screen printing as well. We are curious to know what you think? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UjTZiEAVAlo
