How to customize "No Label" products

no label

There's an increasingly common need to customize products that are as neutral as possible, with no reference to the manufacturer. The market has long recognized this need, and more and more brands have created lines that can be easily rebranded by customers. Until a few years ago, only a small portion of manufacturers had grasped what we might now call a "must-have" in the mid- to high-end product range. Recently, even major brands like B&C, Anvil, and others have recognized this trend and have acted accordingly. Today, it's safe to say that this need can be addressed with a variety of products that now cover virtually all product categories. First, two clarifications are in order:

  1. Some products have a size label separate from all the composition and washing information (in our opinion, the best), while others have a label containing all the information, but it can be removed by tearing it off. This second option requires preparing multiple templates based on the number of sizes to be made (while in the first case, one template is sufficient, allowing you to use the existing size label), and therefore may be less convenient than the first option.
  2. Some manufacturers, despite recognizing the trend, weren't particularly forward-thinking and therefore don't have labels on the neckline showing their details. At the same time, the "smart ones" place a second label inside the garment, which, however, contains the brand's information and isn't always easily removable because this information is included in the composition and care label rather than on a separate, easily removable label.

Once we have considered the above, we can get into the details a little more. Below we have created a small list of the possibilities for customizing these products.

"Print

Inner collar printing: This solution is ideal for medium to small runs. It's a technique now widely used in the fashion industry, making it a truly "A-list" solution. It's quite versatile and has the great advantage of not scratching the collar, thus preventing the end user from discarding it. It's not particularly suitable for products without a size label, as it would require multiple, more expensive stencils (one for each size). Printed labels: This solution offers an excellent compromise between versatility and quality. These are satin or similar labels printed using four-color sublimation . This technique is ideal even for a single piece, as it doesn't involve setup costs. It's also possible to accommodate size differences if the garment doesn't have a size label. Woven labels: This solution is certainly the most prestigious. It's ideal for medium to large runs, as there are usually minimum production quantities for labels that don't go below 500-1000 pieces. to achieve a sustainable price for these accessories. In this case, it is essential that the product have its own size label, since otherwise, size labels will also need to be created, and costs would increase significantly.
