1. Accepted file formats - Embroidery

For the creation of embroidery works, only the following formats are permitted:
  • PDF
  • EPS
  • TO THE

PDF
PDF is one of the best formats for sending your files. In fact, this format is able to maintain all the vector properties (if created with suitable programs) of the file, thus guaranteeing the highest possible quality.

EPS, AI
These formats are ideal if the file needs to be resized. However, it's necessary to convert any open paths, such as text and the like, into closed paths before saving. Failure to do so may result in problems when printing.

If the files are not provided in the indicated formats, we will not be able to carry out any type of intervention or processing requested.

2. Dimensions - Embroidery

We recommend submitting files at a 1:1 scale. A mock-up will be provided by positioning the received files according to specifications based on the actual file size, unless otherwise requested. Please fill in the notes field when uploading, indicating any preferences. The print dimensions can then be verified by the user during the mock-up phase and revised if necessary.

3. Resolution and quality - Embroidery

Optimal/Minimum Resolution: Only vector files will be accepted
Color profile: CMYK - coated fog 27

File quality
Regardless of format, only high-resolution files are accepted. Therefore, please ensure you submit the files according to specifications to avoid delays on your order. The draft will include an indicative technical evaluation for each file, allowing the user to evaluate any necessary interventions in the most critical cases.

Color profile
  • All RGB files will be converted to the sRGB IEC61966-2.1 color profile
  • All CMYK files will be converted to the coated fogra 27 color profile.

We invite you to use these color profiles directly to limit chromatic variations compared to the final result.

4. Transparency management - Embroidery

If transparencies are required, please send the file including the areas you want to display. Any files with a colored background will be reproduced with the colored background included, and under no circumstances will it be possible to dispute the final result. You can modify or cancel your order while submitting the draft.

5. Aligning and centering asymmetrical rows - Embroidery

The system automatically trims your files, eliminating any unnecessary areas to optimize printing. In the case of asymmetrical files, this may cause misalignment. Under no circumstances will our operator check for correct alignment, and the image will be printed using the mathematical center obtained by dividing the image in half starting from its outermost points.

In any case, you will receive the sketch to verify the correct positioning and it will be possible to intervene until it is confirmed.

If you would like your print to have a particular positioning, this must be indicated during the upload phase and agreed with the operator during the draft acceptance phase.

Under no circumstances can Burger-print.nl/en be held responsible for any failure to reach agreements after printing.

6. Limits of embroidery

Embroidery is undoubtedly one of the most customization techniques that can enrich and enhance garments. However, this process is only possible with an exceptionally high-quality file. It's not possible to create small details or blends.

7. Maximum print size - Embroidery

Maximum size: 9x9cm

The maximum customization size varies based on the type of processing and product. You can see the maximum printable size for each item and print position directly during the order process.

Price differences may apply depending on the print size requested. The system will calculate them automatically.

8. Check print file - Embroidery

Print files will be verified once they've been uploaded to the site. One of our operators will verify that:
  • the files provided are compatible with the required processes
  • the quality of the files is adequate to be played

Under no circumstances will content be checked. We encourage you to check your files before submitting them to avoid subsequent disputes. Furthermore, disputes related to file errors after the draft has been approved will not be accepted.

Once the sketch has been received, it will be possible to correct the position, dimensions and files free of charge if provided by the customer.

If the operator finds any critical issues or problems with your files, you will be contacted. If graphical changes are required, you can request them by prior arrangement with the operator, who will provide you with the amount of any additional costs (if necessary to make the desired changes).

9. Adapting the file based on the type of embroidery product

With embroidery it is not possible to make any adjustments to the graphics based on the type of product.

If this becomes necessary, it will be mandatory to split the process and proceed with 2 or more separate processes, losing the quantity discount on the total number of pieces, since the process is effectively repeated entirely.

Example:
The customer includes children's t-shirts ranging in size from 1/2 years to 14 years in the same order. The size gap is very large in this case; if the customer wishes to create a single item with embroidery, it is necessary to set the file with a size that is a good compromise between all the sizes and that allows for feasibility even in the smaller sizes.
