1. Accepted file formats - Digital

The following files are accepted for digital production:

  • PDF
  • EPS
  • TO THE
  • PSD
  • PNG
  • JPG

PDF
PDF is one of the best formats for sending your files. In fact, this format is able to maintain all the vector properties (if created with suitable programs) of the file, thus guaranteeing the highest possible quality.

EPS, AI
These formats are ideal if the file needs to be resized. However, it's necessary to convert any open paths, such as text and the like, into closed paths before saving. Failure to do so may result in problems when printing.

PSD
Again, it's necessary to convert any open paths, such as text and the like, into closed paths before saving. Failure to do so may result in printing problems.

PNG
This format is ideal if you need to manage transparencies; unlike JPG, it can save transparencies. This format can only be exported in RGB, so we will automatically convert it to the production color profile upon receipt. We strongly recommend creating this type of file with a transparent background to eliminate any possibility of errors during file reproduction.

JPG
This file must be sent in high quality; it's not the best format if you want to print on backgrounds other than white, as transparencies can't be saved. However, it's perfect for printing on a white background.

2. Dimensions - Digital

We recommend submitting files at a 1:1 scale. A mock-up will be provided by positioning the received files according to specifications based on the actual file size, unless otherwise requested. Please fill in the notes field when uploading, indicating any preferences. The print dimensions can then be verified by the user during the mock-up phase and revised if necessary.

3. Resolution and quality - Digital

Optimal resolution: 300dpi
Minimum resolution: 150dpi
Color profile: CMYK - coated fog 27

File quality
Regardless of format, only high-resolution files are accepted. Therefore, please ensure you submit the files according to specifications to avoid delays on your order. The draft will include an indicative technical evaluation for each file, allowing the user to evaluate any necessary interventions in the most critical cases.

Color profile
  • All RGB files will be converted to the sRGB IEC61966-2.1 color profile
  • All CMYK files will be converted to the coated fogra 27 color profile.

We invite you to use these color profiles directly to limit chromatic variations compared to the final result.

4. Transparency management - Digital

If transparencies are required, please send the file including the areas you want to display. Any files with a colored background will be reproduced with the colored background included, and under no circumstances will it be possible to dispute the final result. You can modify or cancel your order while submitting the draft.
With DTF printing, transparencies below 50% will not be reproduced while those above will be reproduced with a lower white level.

5. Aligning and centering asymmetrical files - Digital

The system automatically trims your files, eliminating any unnecessary areas to optimize printing. In the case of asymmetrical files, this may cause misalignment. Under no circumstances will our operator check for correct alignment, and the image will be printed using the mathematical center obtained by dividing the image in half starting from its outermost points.

In any case, you will receive the sketch to verify the correct positioning and it will be possible to intervene until it is confirmed.

If you would like your print to have a particular positioning, this must be indicated during the upload phase and agreed with the operator during the draft acceptance phase.

Under no circumstances can Burger-print.nl/en be held responsible for any failure to reach agreements after printing.

6. Limitations of digital printing

Digital printing is excellent for reproducing even small details, however we do not recommend creating files with elements smaller than 1mm as the machines would hardly be able to reproduce them and there is a risk of creating distortion effects.

7. Maximum print size - Digital

Maximum size: A3 - 29.7x42cm

The maximum print size varies depending on the type of processing and product. You can see the maximum printable size for each item and print position directly during the order process.

Price differences may apply depending on the print size requested. The system will calculate them automatically.

8. Print file verification - Digital

Print file verification will be conducted exclusively for purchases of personalized items, after the file upload has been completed via the website. These will be verified by one of our operators who will check that:

  • the files provided are compatible with the required processes
  • the quality of the files is adequate to be played

Under no circumstances will content be checked. We encourage you to check your files before submitting them to avoid subsequent disputes. Furthermore, disputes related to file errors after the draft has been approved will not be accepted.

Once the sketch has been received, it will be possible to correct the position, dimensions and files free of charge if provided by the customer.

If the operator finds any critical issues or problems with your files, you will be contacted. If graphical changes are required, you can request them by prior arrangement with the operator, who will provide you with the amount of any additional costs (if necessary to make the desired changes).

In the case of purchases of DTF transfer films, please note that no human check of the content of the files sent is carried out.

9. Adapting the file based on the type of digital product

One of the great advantages of digital printing is the possibility of adapting the graphics based on the type of product.

In this case, simply indicate the desired measurements for the various items. If the indicated measurement is excessive for certain sizes in the order, Burger-print reserves the right to reduce the file size at its discretion to make it printable and thus complete the process.

Example:
The customer is inserting children's t-shirts ranging in size from 1/2 years to size 14 years in the same process. The gap between the sizes is very large in this case, so the file can be adapted as the sizes decrease in size so as to keep the file as faithful as possible to the desired proportions.

Without any specific instructions, we will proceed independently and reduce the file if necessary on smaller sizes.
